During the month of January, our students participated in The Great Kindness Challenge. Kindness coins were distributed throughout the school to students demonstrating kindness. We had a school wide competition to see which classroom could collect the most coins. Classrooms and families each had a check list to up their kindness game at school and at home. Each classroom planned a Kindness Project, such as reading to younger students, picking up trash, and sharing words of kindness to staff throughout the school. Our Kindness Challenge culminated with a Kindness Spirit Week – the joy was felt throughout the school, all of our hearts a bit more full.
