Return to In-Person Learning

It was wonderful to welcome back our ECE students last week. Next to return is Kindergarten and 1st Grade, followed by all grade levels. See details below.

Trevista Bell Time for K-5: 8:15 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Kinder and 1st Return to In Person:

  • September 24th and 25th –  Asynchronous Learning Only (Seesaw Assignments)
  • September 28th – No School Teacher Planning Day
  • September 29th – Health and Safety Orientation Day
    • Teachers will schedule a time with each family next week. Look for an email from your teacher. Orientation will be about 20-30 minutes.
  • September 30th – First Day of In-Person Learning for Kinder and 1st Grade Students

Kinder and 1st 100% Virtual:

Kinder and 1st Grade 100% Virtual Learning and 100% In-Person  (Traditional Program)

  • Based on the amount of students opting for virtual learning in our traditional program, we are able to divide the students evenly into 3 separate classrooms/cohorts. Students will be rostered into the classrooms below which consist of two in-person classrooms and one 100% virtual classroom.
    • Kinder 100% In-Person students – Ms. Ashley Crossland
    • 1st Grade 100% In-Person students – Ms. Nashay Small
    • Kinder and 1st Grade 100% Virtual – Ms. Amy Hurd
  • Teachers will be reaching out to families starting next week based on the class your student will attend to begin developing relationships with students and families. 

Kinder and 1st Grade 100% Virtual and 100% In-Person (Dual Language Program)

  • Due to the fact that there are only 1-3 students opting for 100% virtual  in each dual language classroom, dual language classroom rosters will remain the same as they are now and teachers will be live streaming instruction throughout the school day. Students opting for 100% virtual will be given a schedule of when to log into the zoom room to participate in the lesson and/or small group. 100% virtual students will also receive assignments and feedback via Seesaw. Teachers and paras will monitor the zoom room and work to create an environment for students in each setting of learning. We will go into more detail about live streaming at our upcoming parent meetings.
