Technology

At Trevista, we recognize that technology in the classroom can supplement the great work being done by our teachers. We know that if used correctly, it can prepare our students for the future while engaging them in the present. Technology allows for our students to access information very quickly as well as through different formats such as digital books. Students are able to collaborate with their teacher and peers through technology and there are endless opportunities for them to be creative and innovative with their work.

Because we believe that our students deserve access to technology, we have invested in the following:

  • MacBookPros and iPads for every teacher
  • Document cameras and projectors in every classroom
  • Promethean boards in most of our intermediate classrooms
  • 120 chromebooks throughout the school
  • A MacLab w/40 desktop computers
  • 1:1 iPad for all 4th & 5th grade students
  • 3-5 iPads for student use in all ECE-3rd grade classes

We are always looking to grow our technology programming and resources so if you are able to connect us with a network, additional funding, or other resources, please reach out to our Principal via email at jesus_rodriguez@dpsk12.org.
