What is a fun fact about you? I’ve written jazz arrangements for the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra’s summer pops series in the past.

Where are you from? Puerto Rico

What experience led you to Trevista? I came as a sub and never left :-) I was a Kindergarten and First Grade Teacher at Smedley Elementary some years ago.

When did you decide to become an Early Education Teacher? Well I wanted to be an Elementary Education Teacher, the Early Education part of it happened by accident.

Who inspired you to be a teacher? My Fourth Grade Teacher, Ms. Davit. She was the kindest person I ever knew. I had language difficulties being a second language learner, but she was so loving and kind that I knew I wanted to be just like her when I grew up.

How long have you been a teacher? I’ve been a teacher for 10 years on and off. I’ve taught adult education classes for Boulder Valley Lifelong Learning, adult classes for Horace Mann Community School, High School at New America Immigration School and DPS.

What do you love most about being a part of the Trevista Community?  I love the Trevista Community.  This is the best team any teacher could be a part of!
