Posted August 7, 2020

Hello Trevista Families!

Teachers return on Monday and many are already working hard to prepare for your students. Below are some reminders that will help us plan for remote learning and be prepared for your students. If you have already completed – Thank you! If you still need to complete – please do so ASAP. It is essential that we have accurate information to ensure a strong start to the school year and assign students to their homeroom teacher.

Annual Family Update (yearly registration verification):

Annual Family Update for the 2020-2021 school year is open. You must have a Parent Portal account to participate online. If you need to open a Parent Portal account so you can do the update and have access to other important information about your student, go to myportal.dpsk12.org and click ‘Create an Account’. You will need your student’s DPS ID Number to start your account.

If you forgot your password or you can’t log in, you can get help by emailing portalteam@dpsk12.org or calling the portal hotline at 720-423-3163. If you do not know your student ID# you can email our new lead secretary, Ann Warner or reach out to me directly via email. More information about the Annual Family Update can be found on their website. You can also email the Office of Family and Community Engagement (FACE), or Family & Community Helpline at 720-423-3054 for any support during this process.

In-Person Support

If you need support with your annual family update (yearly registration verification) please visit Trevista and ring the main entrance buzzer. We will give you a registration (verification) packet that you complete outside, in your car, or take home and return later. Trevista office is open 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you need additional assistance please call 720-423-9800.

Free and Reduced Lunch Application

Even though students are not beginning school in person, it is important to complete the free and reduced application now. Even if you do not qualify for free and reduced lunch application, it is beneficial to Trevista for all families to complete the application form.

Student Supplies

Trevista will be purchasing supplies for ALL students. Teachers will set up a time for you to pick up supplies and materials or they will drop them off at your homes. Trevista students will be charged a $25 supply and technology fee to support their learning. This fee will cover supplies for the entire 2020/2021 school year for all learning scenarios.
