About Trevista ECE-8 at Horace Mann
Life-long success, communication, respect, community support, concrete engagement, deliberate training, future orientation, advocacy for kids, comfortable, welcoming, consistent, and supportive learning partnerships have been integrated through our transition efforts.
Trevista ECE-8 at Horace Mann School's academic vision is to prepare all students for success by providing a high quality education. We strive to assure that each student achieves maximum academic potential, becomes a valued and contributing member of our multicultural community.
We commit to deliver rigorous instruction in the core content areas that provide a full range of course offerings that develop students' physical skills, health and well being, creative and artistic talents, and ability to function in a technologically advancing society.
The students, families, and staff in our school work collaboratively to assure that we grow together as learners in a constantly changing world.
This vision drives our academic focus here at Trevista. We established work groups to focus on phasing in the transition from the three closing schools into one: Learning and Instruction; Culture/Climate, Logistics and Transition. Each committee set goals and objectives to which staff and parents agreed.
